Agathe entered the MD program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 2022 after receiving a Bachelor’s in Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University and a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from Icahn Mount Sinai.
While at Icahn Mount Sinai, Agathe was deeply involved in the East Harlem Health Outreach Partnership (EHHOP), the student-run, physician-supervised free clinic, serving as a Spanish Interpreter, Phlebotomist, Patient Education Chair, and, most recently, Chief Teaching Senior for the Gynecology clinic. She co-founded the Advocates for Family Building in Medicine student group, led several student organizations, including Medical Students for Choice and IcahnBeWell. She also taught elective courses on reproductive rights and social justice.
Additionally, she engaged in multiple research projects focused on maternal health and was elected into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Agathe would like to thank her family, friends, and mentors who supported her throughout medical school.
Agathe will graduate with her MD degree and is excited to stay at the Icahn Mount Sinai to continue her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
