Jack Gomberg

Jack Gomberg grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Pomona College with a major in Neuroscience. Following graduation, he was awarded a Fulbright Research Scholarship to pursue research on medical clowning and afterwards conducted neuroimmunology research at UCLA.

At ISMMS, Jack created the Circus and Medicine NEXUS course, helped faculty redesign the pre-clinical neuroscience curriculum, and built an ISMMS specific Anki deck with over 35,000 digital flashcards mapped to Sinai courses. Jack tutored over 50 students and led dozens of workshops. He also co-led the Student Interest in Neurology Group and worked with the Center for Advanced Circuit Therapeutics to explore white matter changes in depression.

Jack is thrilled to stay at Mount Sinai for his Neurology Residency next year.
