Meet 2025 Award Recipient
Sumanth Chennareddy
Sumanth Chennareddy is from Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate studies, where he studied Neuroscience and Spanish, and graduated first in his class, receiving Vanderbilt’s Founder’s Medal.
While at ISMMS, Sumanth developed a strong interest in clinical and translational research, leading him to join the PORTAL program and Dr. Patrick Brunner’s laboratory in the Department of Dermatology. In Dr. Brunner’s lab, Sumanth received exceptional mentorship, enabling him to publish several first-author papers and present his research at both national and international conferences.
