Yue came to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she earned her B.S. in Biological Engineering in 2020. She entered the PhD program at Icahn in 2020 and completed her doctoral studies in 2025. She is currently continuing as a postdoctoral fellow, advancing her research on targeted protein degradation and stabilization platforms for cancer therapeutics. Prior to her PhD, Yue participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) at Icahn in 2018 and 2019, where she worked with Dr. Ross Cagan to study cancer signaling using Drosophila models. She later applied through the FlexGrad program, which led to her admission into the PhD program. During her doctoral training, Yue authored ten peer-reviewed publications, including four as first or co-first author. She also presented her work at institutional retreats and international conferences, receiving several honors, including the Best Oral Presentation Award at the Pharmacology Department Research Retreat (2024), First Place Poster Award at the Tisch Cancer Institute Research Retreat (2022), and the Excellent Shotgun Communication Prize at a Translational Chemistry Conference in Portugal (2024). Yue would like to thank her family, friends, and the many faculty members at Sinai who have made her PhD journey both intellectually enriching and deeply rewarding.
